About Us
It's kind of misleading to write about "us", when describing the people that BettingExpert consists of. It's misleading, because us at BettingExpert are all the Trial tipsters, the BettingExpert tipsters, the Expert tipsters and of course all of our members. However here I'll write about Juliano (admin of the free picks), Heino (Webmaster and little brother to Chris), Chris (Owner) and myself (Owner), which in the normal "about us"-meaning must be the "us"!
The three of us all live in Denmark, where we besides running BettingExpert run several other sites and study. We have followed BettingExpert (former GloBetting.com) since 2003 and took over from Reedtz & Karakan in the fall 2006. Chris and I have been running websites since 2002, when we started a German website about online casino and poker.
We have always had an interest for online betting in all kinds of games and sports. For me it started in a very early age, when my brother, even though he was underage, managed to open an account at the William Hill bookmaker in England.
It was long before the Internet had arrived, and since we lived in Denmark, my brother was sent the betting program once a week. Placing bets at William Hill only 8 years old were my first experience with sports betting and I sure did miss BettingExpert back then. When Chris and I took over BettingExpert it was a great satisfaction to me, since sports is one of my passions and having the opportunity to work with a site like BettingExpert just sounded perfect. Especially the fact, that some of the most skilled tipsters on the Net are posting on BettingExpert, excites me.
Chris has told me stories of how he always tried to out trick the bookmaker, when he was a kid. It must be said that at that time you were only able to play at the Danish state licensed bookmaker "Danske Spil", which meant extremely poor odds. It was almost impossible to make money on sports betting at the time and I think he lost more than he made :-) This being said, he has picked up since then! Today Chris is very dedicated to improving BettingExpert and sees it as a privilege to work with the development of the site.
Heino was probably struck by the same phenomenon that happened to me: The influence of an older brother knowing what's "best" for you. So Heino is just as much into sports betting as the rest of us :-) Anyway Heino is the technical expert in our small team. It's sad to admit, but neither Chris nor I are good at technical stuff in relation to making a good looking website. Luckily Heino happens to be one of those persons, who, if he doesn't know how to do something, certainly will find the answer in no time at all.
The guy making sure that everything is working in the free part of BettingExpert is Juliano. He was formerly a regular member of BettingExpert, but due to his outstanding contributions to BE, he was promoted to admin of the free part. He continuously suggest new ways of improving the site and does his very best to help all members and tipsters experiencing problems. Juliano is from Poland and always find good picks from the Polish leagues + other areas. However be careful if he recommends a bet on Celtic, since it’s his favourite team ;-).
Naturally it's worth also here to mention Reedtz and Karakan for their brilliant work to bring BettingExpert to the standards, where we took over. It's our ambition to make BettingExpert the best sport betting tips provider on the Net.
