Carling Cup Final: Aston Villa vs. Manchester United

Manchester United are a usual sight in the Carling Cup Final. They are the reigning champions and they return to Wembley in a quest to lift their second consecutive Carling Cup. Their opponent, Aston Villa, will bring their good form of late to Wembley will thousands of fans to lift up some silverware since 1996. Wayne Rooney fired away to tally his goals to 27 this season and he looks unstoppable at the moment. Another key player, Park Ji-Sung, might be Alex Ferguson main weapon as the Korean has contributions have been vital for the team of the late. Manchester United will be without Rio Ferdinand on Sunday while Anderson is rule out for the tie against Aston Villa.

The Final could be a washout as excitement could build to nothing when these two teams meet. In the Premiership, the norm is a draw between these two teams and a draw here will mean extra time and penalties. Aston Villa have been good in knockout stages, they are in the final in the Carling Cup and qualified for the sixth round in the FA Cup. Manchester United are always favorites in the any Finals so expect them to fight to the last moment. Betsson are offering odds 3.35 for a draw in the 90 minutes of the 2010 Carling Cup Final.
