Bayern Munich and Chelsea will face off in the 2012 Champions League Final this weekend. Today on the blog Andrew delivers 10 betting facts for you to consider before you place your bets.

Chelsea have scored in each of their last 13 Champions League matches scoring at least 2 goals in 6 of those contests. Despite such an impressive scoring run, Chelsea have won just 7 of those 13 matches, conceding goals on 8 occasions.

Bayern have drawn just once in their last 31 Champions League matches. That came this season against Napoli, a 1-1 result. During that span they have won 20 and lost 10. In their 25 matches previous to that, they drew on 10 occasions. Meanwhile Chelsea have drawn in 6 of their last 30 Champions League matches, winning 16 and losing 8 across that span.

Over the last 8 Champions League season, the home club has been favoured to win between odds of 1.70 and 2.00 on 135 occasions, winning 71 of those contests for a win profitability of -3.7% while visiting clubs in those matches have won just 24 times for a win profitability of -18%. In their last 87 Champions League matches, Chelsea have played away at odds of greater than 3.00 on just 13 occasions. They managed to win three of those contests for an even stakes profitability of -20% while losing five and drawing the remaining five.

12 of Bayern's last 20 home Champions League matches have seen at least 3 goals scored including 7 of their last 9. In fact 24 of their last 39 overall Champions League matches have seen at least 3 goals scored.
