Well the time has come to announce the winner of our Euro 2012 Blog Correspondent Competition.

Over the last few weeks we received many great entries from some very talented, insightful and unique writers. So as you can imagine, selecting one winner was truly a very difficult task and we thank you all for each of your submissions.

After much deliberation and taking into account the three criteria we set at the beginning of the competition: quality of the piece, blogging experience and social shares, we have come to a final decision.

So without any further drama, the winner of the BettingExpert Betfair Euro 2012 Blog Correspondent Competition is Adam Hurrey from FootballCliches.com and his piece entitled 'What the average TV pundit knows about the Euro 2012 teams'.

On behalf of BettingExpert and Betfair, Adam will be heading to Poland to cover the tournament for our blog. We very much look forward to reading Adam's unique perspective on the tournament in his daily posts. They're sure to be entertaining.

To everyone who made a submission, we thank you for your entry. We were humbled by such a great response to our competition and the quality of writing presented. We will continue to promote your great work throughout the tournament.

And if you haven't done so yet, have a read of each of our entrants submissions. Some truly fantastic reading to get you set for the start of the tournament.
