It's here. The new BettingExpert Tipster Stats. And it's fantastic.

After some months in development, we are very pleased to announce the launch of our tipster search tool. Now you can search the BettingExpert tipster database, discovering not only the best tipsters to follow for any sport or league but more than that, you can see where you rank amongst our betting community's elite punters.

Want to know which tipsters have been the most profitable over the last 12 months? BettingExpert Tipster Stats will tell you. Want to know who have been the best Premier League tipsters since BettingExpert started? Or even who have been the best tipsters for 2nd division Belgium football over the last 6 months? With our new BettingExpert Tipster Stats you can find out all of this and so much more with just a few clicks of your mouse.

Break down tipster stats, results, profitability by any sport, league, language or timeframe. The possibilities are only limited by your curiosity.

Arriving at the BettingExpert Tipster Stats page, you are presented with the search filters, a sport by sport breakdown of every tip ever posted at BettingExpert as well as a listing of the alltime most profitable tipsters in BettingExpert history.

For a quick league by league breakdown of each sport, simply click on the down-arrow assigned to that sport and you'll see the overall BettingExpert community results for those leagues. Click on a particular league and you will see displayed the alltime tipster rankings for that particular league.

The image above shows the overview for each football tip posted at BettingExpert since we launched. You can sort leagues within individual sport overviews by country, league, tips, profit or yield. In this case we have sorted all football leagues by overall profit, with the Spanish Primera being our most profitable alltime football league.

Searching the tipster database

The image above shows a search for the best Premier League tipsters over the past year with the tipsters ranked by their overall profit. You can see the timeframe selected is from 17th March 2011 to 17th March 2012 while the selected league is the Premier League and the list of tipsters sorted by their Ranking i.e their overall profit.

Customising your tipster search is simple and here's how you do it!

At the top of the page you will see the search filters. Using the filters you can refine your search, customising that stats you are looking for. Let's take a look at the filters available:

Period : Select the timeframe that you want to search. You can select every date in the database, the past week, month, year or if you prefer, you can customise your timeframe to exact dates.

Language : Select tips written in your preferred language. There's six languages to choose from – English, German, Danish, Italian, Serbian and Swedish.

Tips : Choose between qualified tipsters (non-trial) and trial tipsters.

Tipster : Search for a particular tipster by entering their username.

Sport : Select the sport you wish to search for. There are 28 sports from which to choose.

League : Narrow your search by selecting a specific league. There are literally hundreds of leagues and tournaments to choose from.

Data Type : You can customise your search based upon tipster Rankings. Doing so will list tipsters in order of overall profit. You can also choose to search by completed tips and active tips.

Once you have 'added' your chosen filters, click 'Apply Filters' to view your customised search.

With your results displayed, you can sort the results by the various table headers.

You might also be wondering - What is the BE Factor? Well the BE Factor is a metric we came up with to assess a tipsters overall performance, based upon a combination of overall profit, yield and units staked.

A tipster's BE Factor is a badge of honour. As you will see, not every tipster has a BE Factor. To earn your BE Factor you must have staked a minimum of 1,500 units.

Oh and just a note. Your results may take a while to load when selecting a broad search timeframe. To speed up your search, narrow your timeframe.
