Astra is one of the teams that is involved in UEFA Europa League duel with a couple of teams and needs to win today at home against Rapid Bucuresti.
The guests despite are not paid for such a long time haven't surrender and are playing better now then past seasons when were money!!!!!!!
Recent news says that the guests were denied their licence for the next season and this should be the last drop this side will need to fall down and this could be a good chances for home side to take the 3 points.

Rapid Bucuresti has one of the worst season so far standing in the 8th spot. They are now facing many internal issues such as injuries, players not being paid, management problems. Today will be happening the last match of this round in the Romanian Cup and Rapid Bucuresti will host Astra Giurgiu. Rapid is having a lot of problems , especially financial ones ; Rapid's players have the biggest salaries from the first league, they have a big squad of 33 players and the owner can't afford to pay anymore. I don't understand why Rapid Bucharest is settled big time favorite to win the last quarter final of the Romanian Cup since in recent period Astra Ploiesti has done a better job.I mean Astra Ploiesti has won this month against Rapid also on Rapid's own field with 2-0 in the Romanian Championship after a match that the favorites of this match and of the match played three weeks ago played very bad especially in attack.
As I said in recent period Rapid is not having a good season because made many mistakes in the summer regarding the players brought or the coach, has a bad atmosphere at the club, no money to pay the players and I doubt will be able to get past a side that has the best away record from Romanian League with 5 wins and only 2 defeats, is undefeated in last 5 matches, 2 of them away from home.

Romainian Liga I tought matchup today.
Rapid is on the 8 place right now with only 5 wins in 13 matches witch is very low for them in my opinion because they have a very good squad right now.
Astra Giurgui is on the 4th position with 7 wins in 13 games and they are showing a very good game, but today they are in away situatoin so it would be more difficult to manage win here.
Astra team is very good at offence , they are in first position in league when they are away from their home!
At Home Rapid plays over more than 60% of their game while Astra in away position play more than 80% over games so I expect there more than 2 goals for sure, both teams likes to score and so will be today too.

As I said Astra Ploiesti means almost nothing in attack and I was right about them not be dangerous in the Cup in mid-week when Petrolul took an early lead and kept until the end because Astra was without no idea in attack.
Despite Astra has changed their coach and this one is trying to put up a good game in offensive has no chance because almost all the players lack the creativity.
Rapid on the other hand is coming from a win in the Cup and a draw at Steaua Bucharest after a match that had more fights in the filed then soccer.
Home side coach is well known for his defensive minded game and had always problems to impose against defensive minded teams and when two defensive minded teams are facing most of the time a few goals are present.
Plus last 4 matches played between them ended with only one of them scoring and also Rapid hasn’t allowed goals in last 3 matches but Astra has scored in all the matches played away from home and more important former coach of the guests was last season the coach of home side and he knows very well his former players and we should see here his players to have some chances to score despite lack the creativity.
