Basketball competition rules
1. The competition covers ALL basketball tournaments, NBA and major and minor tournaments that bookmakers offer in the market.
2. The top five basketball tipsters with the highest profit (measured in units) on basketball shares the prize pool, which will be paid in freebets & prize giveaways. Tipster with the most overall gets the first prize. See above for the prize breakdown.
3.To be able to take part in the Unibet basketball competition, you must first follow this three steps:
3.1 Tipsters must open a Unibet account through BettingExpert link
3.2 Make a deposit and place a first bet.
3.3 You must then enter your Unibet username in your tipster profile page.
4. The 8-pick-rule applies. Meaning, tipster must have 8 or more valid tips at the final day of the competition to be eligible for the prize.
6. Competition closes on the 01 July 2012 at 23:59 CET:
6.1 All basketball tips that will be played up to the closing date will be counted.
6.2 Any basketball tip where game will be played after the closing date will not be part of the competition for the BettingExpert Basketball Competition season 2011-2012.
7. The Unibet prizes will be paid in free-bets after the winners have been checked, verified and validated by the sponsor.
8. Along with the Basketball competition rules, BettingExpert's terms and conditions apply.
Please note that any deliberate abuse of this will lead to deleting or voiding of picks and even suspension of accounts.

Any news regarding this competition tipsters should be aware of?
Not much they could do, Betway just said nobody made an account via BE or didn't deposit and it was our word against theres.. They aren't a sponsor any more, the Hockey competition doesn't exist and if you go on my profile-there isn't even a trophy pic for the hockey competition.. They now have only an affiliate link :)
O, I'm really sorry to hear this for Betway. I can not believe. What BettingExpert had to say about this? Do they maybe done some sort of compensation for the winners? And why the hell Betway is still on the BettingExpert bookmaker list?
I agree. There is always a chance.. Specially for a tipster like you who has a large volume of tips.. It's just silly to compare it with the hockey competition i won with less than 70 units lol.. But nobody actually got a prize from Betway, those cheap jerks decided to ignore the winners lol..
I was in a similar position even last time and from -100 at one moment, won at the end. My score at the end was +200 if I am not wrong. Even now I am convinced I can come back, maybe not to win this time, but the Top 3 definitely.

I am almost sure that I know what is the mistake. I will inform Ben about it.
The same situation is with me no matter I didn't place any bet lately...
I am not sure about prize distribution but these standigs are not good. I am writing right now e-mail to Ben to check this. More than 10 days the standings were the same, what was mistake by the system. And today I see these standings where I have much less units than it should be.
