The principle of basketball betting, like all other sports betting, is predicting the results of the game. NBA Betting System

There are three main ways to bet on an NBA/Basketball game and, hence, three different forms of free NBA betting system.
The first is what is called a point spread. In a point spread, lines are placed that predict the point differentiation of the winner and loser of the game. For example, before a game, if a line read that team A was -5, it means that team A would need to win by 6 or more. If the team were to only win by 3 then you would lose. Point spreads are done before the game.

In a moneyline bet you place a bet according to whether you are betting on the expected winner or the underdog. For example, if you are betting for the expected winner, you must bet a greater amount than you will win. Because you are in favor of winning, you must risk more in order to win some money. If you are betting on the underdog, you can bet a smaller amount, and win a greater sum if the underdog does in fact win. (Ex. You bet $200 on the favored team, but only win $150 if they win. If you bet $150 on the underdog, you would win $200 if they won.)

Another way to bet in basketball is placing bets on the game totals, known as over/unders. In an over/under bet you on the total points scored in the game. At the end of the game, you add the points scored by each team (ex. If the score was 92-87, the total would amount to 179) and relate that to the O/U of the game. If the O/U was 170, and you bet over the O/U then you would have a win.
