Caster Semenya's Olympic Debut
Caster Semenya will have her debut in Olympic stage in the London 2012 Games. Now aged 21, she is concentrating to put her nightmares behind her. She was forced to undergo a gender test and was sidelined for 11 months while the IAAF was considering her case. Putting things behind her, she is back into action and will make her first appearance for the 30th Olympic Games. She is the hope of South Africa to take home the gold in the Women’s 800m race. She has the potential to follow in the footstep of Usain Bolt who made a 100m and 200m World Record four years ago. Meanwhile, there is some experience for the Bristish to conquer the 800m and Lyndsey Sharp could well get her break if she makes it to the final.
