Women's Basketball Team Australia Preview

There is already controversy for the Australian Women Basketball Team even before tipoff of the first basketball game. The Women team have official being booked on another class differ from the business class that the Men's Team Australia were on when flying into London. A sexism case is high on the agenda rather than a gold medal, this could be a bit of a setback considering that the women team are the successful team in the Olympic.

Rank 2 in the FIBA rankings, the Australian women are the number one contender to take on USA in the 2012 Olympics. They have never won gold in the Olympics but was a finalist in three consecutive Olympic finals, 2000. 2004 and 2008. Always looking to go one further and hopefully 2012 could be the answer as they are led by WNBA star, Lauren Jackson. Head Coach Carrie Graf will hope that her team consists of Liz Cambage, Abby Bishop, Lauara Summerton and Belinda Snell could help her team progress to yet another Olympic final.
