The lineup for the 200m is very similar to the 100m, the only difference is that extra 100m added for the track and field athletes to run. If the 100m is the blue riband then the 200m is the triband of the athletics event. Both Men and Women events have always been dominated by Team USA however Team Jamaica is certainly giving it a run for the money for the second consecutive Olympic. The Women will run their heats on both Monday 6th and Tuesday the 7th while the final race will be on Wednesday 8th of August. The Men will see their two heat be run on separate days, Tuesday the 7th and on the Wednesday 8th of August, so to the Thursday the 9th, the 200m final will be held at the Olympic Stadium and all eyes will be Usain Bolt, this time it should be under 20 seconds.
