Real Madrid vs. Sporting Gijon

A routine win for Real Madrid at home could be the best run up to their champions league midweek game against Tottenham. Knowing that the home side is missing a few of the key players that can score goals, it will be the port of call of asking Sporting Gijon to be discipline and tight at the back, maybe for 90 minutes that might be a long time to hold but certainly worth the while when Madrid might have something else at the back of their minds.

 

Villarreal vs. Barcelona

Bojan Krkic is another one that might not take the trip to EL Madrigal after suffering a strain ankle and this means Pedro is most likely to be one replacing them. Coach Pepe Guardiola can’t afford to rest anyone and knowing that there is only five points from their nearest rival, a point is a must on Saturday.
