Premier League 2011/2012

Premier League Season 2011/2012

The domestic league which enjoys the most following around the globe is back and with top teams having strengthened even more over the summer transfer window the battle should be one to involve more than just Manchester United and Chelsea this time.

At the time of writing the transfer window is still not yet closed so views on each team may vary depending on how they will move on the market by the end of August. The club previews will therefore be changed as we go along, and as the season progresses through different stages.

The main challengers will be the usual two along with a reinforced Manchester City squad and a renewed Liverpool side thirsty for success. Arsenal have undergone a revolution which may hamper their chances but they will nonetheless be battling for a top spot.

Behind them the likes of Fulham, Sunderland, Aston Villa and Everton have what it takes to challenge for a European place and will definitely prove tough nuts to crack for the big guns.

On the other end of the table Wigan, Swansea and Norwich may have to work extra hard to avoid the relegation verdict whilst Newcastle’s turbulent summer may turn out to be fatal for the northern club.
