The Rules

You have £100 million and choosing 15 players (2 goalie, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 attackers) is a tough one. You will have to find players that can score you the most points week in and week out, that is the name of the game. Getting the most points and win the overall tournament with 38 weeks by choosing the right player, easy right?. Yeah, it is all about getting the right player. So make sure you read the rules here - http://fantasy.premierleague.com/rules/

Fantasy Football Nutshell

Formation – This is important, depending what you are going for, many will go for a heavy packed midfielder option because midfielders will get you lots more points if they score. While an attacking force of 3-4-3 will also work.

Goalkeeper – they can score you points when they get clean sheets, save penalties but if they let in goals, well you lose points too.

Defenders – they will score you points if they get you clean sheets, play 90 minutes, assists and also score goals. But remember, like the goalie, if they let in too many goals, you’ll get deduction of points of conceded goals (2 goals or more, -1) and yellow/red cards. So don’t get yourself a dirty player.

Midfielders – this is where you have to gamble. These guys will get you most points because they are the ones who score goals and give assists. You’ve have to choose carefully because your backbone and if they are your captain, then they will earn even more points. Imagine Frank Lampard scoring 3 goals and gave two assists, and your captain. BINGO!!!!!

Attackers – Everybody will have one in mind that they will definitely choose but it is about the one that will hit goals on the day. One day it can be Drogba, next it could be Torress, who knows, this is where they test your skills. Attackers will score you 4 points per goal and if they play 90 mintues, then you’ll get 2, so aim for 6 points per game per striker.

Reserves – This is important, you’ll need to get some reserve players that will play regularly and also get you points. They aren’t idle players, oh no, they will help you gain points and value of your team if they score points. So again, get the best talents and the ones that will play regularly for their team.

Premier League Fantasy Football 2011/12

So here is some suggestions for your team provided by BettingExpert Team.

Joe has chosen Manchester United new boy goalkeeper David De Gea for £6.5m, Stoke City defender Robert Huth for £6.0 and midfielder Fulham Clint Dempsey for £8.5m. While David has gone for Liverpool's Luis Suarez and Henrik has picked out Manchester United Javier Hernandez (currently injuried and will be back in September). Andrew has added his defensive lineup with left back Leighton Baines (Everton) and dender Jolean Lescott (Man City). This is supplemented with team mate midfielder Vincent Kompany (Man City), all great values to take advantage of.

Extra features:

During the season, you have to watch out for these features, you’ll get two chances to completely redo your team. It’s called the Wildcard, so make sure you use them wisely and every round, you’ll get a chance to do one or two free transfers, but anything more than that you will have to pay 4 points for it. Buy wisely! Last but not least, besides the 38 weeks of league action, there is also a FA Cup round and that will start a bit later in the season, so watch out for that.

Statistics:

This will help you gain more insight of how you would like to choose your players careful. You can use the stats that is provided by the Premier League or you can use key judgments that has provided by from our blog. Click here for the Blog.
