The current Milan Coach Massimiliano Allegri will meet his former team, Cagliari on Saturday evening to lift the Scudetto infront of a sell out San Siro crowd. Elsewhere, Lecce will want to avoid the drop as they travel to Bari and Roma is in need for the three points to keep their champion league spot alive.

Milan vs. Cagliari

The celebration started last week when Milan drew 0-0 away to Roma and with that one point, the Rossoneri secured the Scudetto. Therefore, it is for sure that San Siro will be turning on the party mood with and celebrate their triumph with their fans. Milan welcomes Cagliari to the San Siro on Saturday with a slight relax tone this weekend.

Apart from the celebration, there is a personal matter that Milan might need to resolve first for their coach. Massimiliano Allegri will showcase the Scudetto in front of his former club Cagliari who sacked him last season but of course Serie A secure for yet another season. It would be amusing if Allegri sends out a side that will not just win a game, but destroy their opponent. With that in mind, Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic should get front and center with either Pato or Robinho supporting him, with Dutch maestro Clarence Seedorf sitting behind them. Luca Antonini is doubtful, Jankulovski is unavailable while Kevin-Prince Boateng is suspended.

Cagliari secured another season in the Serie A but will taste bitter sweet over their former manager celebrating the Scudetto instead. It could unfold on Saturday where Cagliari are in a chance to run the celebration, just a little bit with their bitter sweet of beating them at the San Siro. Apart from that, there is nothing for Cagliari to play for and so anyone starting on the pitch will be playing for pride. Andrea Cossu returns to the starting line up from suspension while Nene, Franceco Pisano and Gabriele Perico won’t be travelling to Milan.

Slightly different approach to this game at the San Siro, AC Milan hasn’t been able to win the last two games, drawing to Roma 0-0 and losing 2-1 to Palmero in the Coppa Italia in the midweek doesn’t showcase the weekend’s prospectus however, they are champion so never mind the result. Caglari will try but without any heart to their game, they will struggle, Milan to win this in a high scoring game.

Bari vs. Lecce

Already relegated Bari will enter Lecce in the Apulian derby and the home side could yet seal the fate for their neighbor. The question is which way will Lecce go, will they join Bari in the Serie B or stay up yet another season. After getting relegated, Bari have managed to put on a brave performance, maybe not result wise, but their attitude in their game play. That has transcended into some rewards as they drew against Genoa last weekend. The Biancorossi might be down and out  but they won’t be going down quietly.

Lecce are directly competing with Sampdoria for the last spot to get relegated to the Serie B next season. The away team is currently at 38 points, two more than Sampdoria and also two from Cesena, so a win is a must at Stadio Via Del Mare. A draw could open the flood gates for more trouble in the last day of play next weekend so a positive result here would help their cause to stay in the Serie A for another season. Speaking of positive, Lecce managed to win last weekend so going to Bari shouldn’t be a problem when it comes to motivation, however Lecce was defeat 1-0 earlier this season so anything can happen. Lecce will be without Edward Ofere, Stefano Ferrario, Simone Sini and Carlos Grossmuller, additionally Daniele Corvia is suspended.

The weakness in Bari can be smelt by a mile, besides being at the bottom and relegated, they are also without a whole load of players due to injuries. The visitors have one thing in mind, secure the Serie A for next season and a win could prompt that wish. Lecce will have Javier Chevanton to help them get those goals they needed and he shouldn’t disappoint on Sunday.

Catania vs. Roma

It’s all about the Champions League for Roma while Catania have little to play for afterall they have secure their status in the Serie A for another season. The home side beat Brescia 2-1 last weekend and the sigh of relief was in the air at the final whistle. The relief might not extend to this Sunday when Roma rolls into town with a mission on their mind. Catania won’t have the serive of  Cristian Llama, Fabio Sciacca and Giuseppe Bellusci as they are all injured.

The Giallorossi are in no mood to play around with Catania. The visitors are in a need for the three points to chase down a champion league spot for next season. They are in competition with Udinese and city rival Laxio for the fourth place in the Serie A. Both Roma and Lazio trails Udinese with two points and Lazio with a better goal difference. Their 0-0 draw against AC Milan at home last weekend didn’t help the Giallorossi much so they will have to do this themselves. Elimination in the Coppa Italia didn’t help either in midweek but more bad news is that Matteo Brighi, Philippe Mexes, Daniele De Rossi and Simone Perrotta won’t be travelling to Sicily.

Catania won’t be unfazed whether they win, draw or lose on Sunday when Roma on the visits. However, reverse, Roma could fall behind in the fight for qualifying for the Champions League next season. After two disappointing draw, Roma needs points and all three will have to come from Sicily this weekend.
