Tuesday:
Queen Anne Stakes – 1 mile
This is the first of the seven Group 1 races and boy what a race it is going to be between two horses. Bookies have it all covered between French horse GOLDIKOVA and English breed CANFORD CLIFFS. These two aged four and over will be head to head to find out who is the best. This will be a tight one, the French is the defending champion while the English is unbeaten in two royal ascot races.

Prince of Wales’s Stakes – 1 mile 2 furlongs

The colt trained by Aidan O’Brien will hope that SO YOU THINK will get him the winning feeling once again but defending champion, BYWORD will be standing his way. If that is not enough challenge, then throw in French Derby second PLAINTEUR into the mix, then you have a race.

Ascot Gold Cup – 2 miles 4 furlongs
The longest races of all the main races of each Ascot days and this group 1 race will test the horse’s stamina, so pick one that can withstand the distance. All eyes will be on 2010 champion, RITE OF PASSAGE to shine once again and the main threats will come from both FAME AND GLORY and GORDIELAND. Surely a repeat could be on the cards.

Coronation Stakes – 1 mile
The sound of the race will give off how much importance this one has and filled with three year olds, this could go down with a surprise. There are many to choose from and we start with Irish MISTY FOR ME and MEMORY going head to head. While outsider ELMAAM, trained by William Haggas will want to put forward his horse to do well. However the favorite should see MEMORY get the better of the other horse on offer.

Golden Jubilee Stakes – 6 furlongs
The main races of the whole the Ascot week and one of the most prestigious sprints of the whole calendar year. The race attracts all horse around the Globe to test their pace and speed but the last five races have seen a winner from both Britain and Ireland. Having said that, Roger Charlton’s BATED BREATH and ELZAAM looks likely to be a good each way bet to finish off a fine week. However, if you are looking for a favorite then former miler DELEGATOR could be your winner in the final highlight of the week.
