Bagsy's supporters frustration set to end at Bangor

Bagsy's Bridge has been heavily gambled on all three starts so far his season without winning, but he can land the Beefeater London Gin Handicap Hurdle today.
Fergal 0'Brien's 8-y-o is a very strong traveller who idles badly when hitting the front, and those tactics were the main reason he was touched off at Wetherby last time out, dossing after the last and getting beaten right on the line having traded at 1.01 in running on the beting exchanges. Regular rider Timmy Murphy is sure to be even more patient this time, and can produce his mount close home at what should prove an ideally tight, speed course and distance at Bangor.
With only £2600 in prize money on offer a predictably poor field has assembled against our selection. Perhaps the principal danger will be That's Some Milan. He shaped with some promise in 2010 for another yard and has now joined the bang in-form Ian Williams yard for his first start since. Any move in the betting later on would be a huge clue that he is primed for a big run on this handicap debut.
Lisdonagh House won in similar conditions last April and would be a live runner on that form, but the veteran is not getting any younger and both recent runs have been devoid of promise.
Nevsky Bridge may outrun his odds for those after a bigger price selection. He has slipped to a career low rating after struggling in testing ground this term, but ought to relish this speed test and go close in a race that has little depth.
In summary, an uncompetitive race affords a golden chance for Bagsy's Bridge to turn tears of frustration into joy. At around 5-4 this morning he is well worth a decent win investment.
