Legal Legacy set to be rewarded for consistency

Legal Legacy has been a model of consistency in recent starts and can gain reward by landing Wolverhampton's feature Bet at Blue Square On Your Mobile Handicap.
He has shaped well on all three starts since being switched to the all-weather surface after a long career for another yard racing exclusively on turf. The 6-y-o is dropped in class this afternoon and can swoop through late on under regular rider Andrew Mullen.
Main danger for the £3500 prize money comes from course specialist Needwood Ride. He has gradually recaptured his best form since the turn of the year, and gained reward when gamely landing a course and distance handicap last time out. The handicapper has had his say and more will be needed from a higher rating.
Riverdale made a bold bid to lead all the way over five furlongs here four days ago, denied only in the shadows of the post. However that was a very bunched apprentice handicap where he was allowed a soft lead, and this extra 2f is something of an imponderable as he has been well held when tried over it in the past.
Trojan Rocket has won three times here and appeared close to another victory when a close third last time out. He did have the benefit of a very good draw that day and the form may only be modest, with just three lengths covering the first nine home there.
Topweight I Confess has run three creditable races here since a productive spell on turf last Summer. He has seemed a bit onepaced and may need a very positive ride to defy the burden of 9-7 under the in-form Joe Fanning (impressive double on Saturday).
In summary, a trappy all-weather handicap featuring all the usual suspects. Legal Legacy is less exposed than most in this sphere and shaped with promise in a better race last time. At around 5-1 this morning he appeals as the each-way value.
