Peadar Miguel hails from a stable that survives on landing gambles on the all-weather, and the layers are sure to be cautious on this first run for over nine months. Any sign of confidence in the betting near the off will be a sure sign he is primed from a rating he is well capable of winning off.

Hidden Glory had the blinds refitted when returning to form over this course and distance 21 days ago. The handicapper has generously dropped him 1lb for that and he is entitled to respect, while topweight Hawaana may need more runs to reach optimum fitness levels following a long lay-off.

At a huge price Captain Loui may reward each-way support. He has improved over hurdles since last seen on the flat five months ago, and has crept into this with a flyweight. He hasn't aways seemed the most genuine but did register his sole victory at this venue and might just suprise a few if on a "going" day.

In summary, a typically competitive handicap, but proven winner Trip Switch still appears on a winnable rating despite a prolific sequence. His young rider appears a bright talent and the 7lb claim may be the difference. At around 5-1 he is worth a small win investment this morning.
