Gerard Butler's Dubai Bounty was a very impressive winner over course and distance last time and can follow up in the Download The Blue Square Bet App Handicap.

The lightly-raced 5-y-o had come down the weights prior to resuming winning ways and fairly sprinted clear of Dazzling Valentine that day. He looks well capable of defying a 5 lb higher mark under the in-form Nicky Mackay.

Main danger for the £6500 prize money comes from Reachforthebucks. He was much improved to land an all-weather hat-trick for Michael Wigham twelve months ago, and returned with a very promising third for a new yard when fitted with cheekpieces at Kempton last time. This step up in trip appears sure to suit on run-style and he is sure to go close.

Topweight West End Lad is a model of consistency who won three times in 2011 and was a good 1¼ lengths second to Archie Rice (won again since) in a C&D handicap last time. He shouldn't be far away once again but our selection has a little more scope for improvement.

The Lock Master caught the eye last time out as he made late headway having had a troubled run through from rear. However, he has gone thirteen months without a win, and needs the cards to fall just right if he is to stop the rot.

Khandaq has a great deal more on his plate after winning a poor seller from the front last time up, while course specialist 0pus Maximus needs to put a rare bad run behind him.

In summary, a tight handicap but such was the manner of Dubai Bounty's win here 21 days ago that he will be very hard to beat if turning up in the same mood. At around 3-1 this morning he is worth a small win investment.
