Radio Gaga set for Listed race success

Ed Mcmahon's twice raced Radio Gaga is selected to land this afternoon's Newmarket feature, the Listed Dubawi E.b.f. Bosra Sham Fillies' Stakes at 3.00.
Fourteen runners have been declared for this valuable £21500 prize over 6f, and our selection is fancied to cope with this rise in class. She created an excellent impression on debut at Haydock when, despite obvious greeness when ridden, she quickened up smartly to win a maiden that has subsequently produced four subsequent winners. As a result she was heavily supported to land a twenty runner nursery next time, only to find one too good having been given a deal to do.
Richard Mullen is in the saddle for the first time today, and she is by far the most unexposed filly in the race. That freshness and scope can see her defeat rivals with higher ratings who have been largely on the go all season.
Miss Lahar is another who has thrived on a busy campaign and appeared to improve when placed at listed level on her last two appearances. Her win record of one in eight doesn't inspire though, and she had a hard enough race just six days ago.
Artistic Jewel, a stablemate of our selection, may prove the biggest danger. She made a winning debut at Windsor in July and stepped forward again at Salisbury last time when landing a valuable minor event. She has achieved more on paper than most and is entitled to go very close.
At a bigger price Misty Conquest may upset a few more vaunted runners. She won twice in May and can be excused her latest flop when the soft ground was all against her. If the rain stays away later on she can feature if still at her best after a long season.
In summary, a typically wide open end of season sprint for some highly rated fillies. From a good draw in stall 13, the unexposed Radio Gaga can successfully translate handicap form to Listed Class. At around 6-1 this morning, she is worthy of a decent each-way wager against rivals who may just have had the edge taken off them after several tough races at a higher level.
