The progressive Graduation Night is a confident choice to land Doncaster's featured Lynn Higgins 60th Birthday Novices' Limited Handicap Chase at 1.45.

Jamie Snowden's 5-y-o has been a revelation since switching to chasing, winning three decent handicaps at Wincanton, Chepstow and Ascot, impressing each time with fluent jumping and strong travelling style. He has been raised significantly by he assesor for that productive spree, but still appears well in this afternoon.

Prolific Harry The Viking appears the main danger, representing the champion trainer Paul Nicholls on a rare journey his far North. The 6-y-o made a winning chase debut a this venue when denying the well supported Saint Aire, and will relish the step up two furlongs in trip here.

Topweight Five Star Wilsham had little chance in a graded affair at Exeter last time out and will be more competitive here. He is not an assured stayer however, and will not find it easy giving the weight away all round to some unexposed rivals.

Lively Baron seems held by Harry The Viking on his latest run here, but may benefit from more positive tactics if getting an uncontested lead, and is one for hunters of bigger prices.

In summary, a useful contest for the £9000 prize money, but a great chance for our selection to step up successfully in class. At around 4-1 this morning he is worth a win investment under regular rider Tom 0'Brien.
