Champion AP McCoy is in the saddle again and is sure to ride his mount with plenty of patience off what is sure to be a fast run race on the eased ground.

Topweight Fiendish Flame is sure to be popular having won impressively over course and distance five days ago. He has to defy a 7lb penalty and did get a very good waiting ride from the front that day, drawing right away on the home turn to win readily by a wide margin. There is a suspicion that was a very modest contest with the 4-6f very laboured, and lumping 12-0 will not be easy on the rain eased ground.

Dhaafer hails from a yard now in far better form than when he ran two modest races last month and he is entitled respect from a slipping rating, while ex-chaser Majestic Mayhem has claims if one can ignore his recent runs over the larger obstacles.

Risaala seems to prefer fast ground and appears in the grip of the assesor at the moment, while Ranjobie needs to step up massively on a poor re-appearance effort.

In summary a competitive field for the £7000 prize money affords a great chance for the unexposed Christopher Wren to continue on the upgrade. At around 5-2 this morning he is worth a decent win investment.
