Champion trainer Paul Nicholls Doeslessthanme is a confident selection to land Taunton's featured novice handicap chase at 1.30 this afternoon.
The 7-y-o has excelled since joining this yard in three starts this season, winning a decent handicap first time up before bustling up the revitalised and heavilly supported Super Formen last time out over this course and distance. He has to give weight away all round here but is well up to defeating some more exposed rivals, with the improving Daryl Jacob in the saddle.
0lrik returned from the wilderness to win over 2m3f at this course last time out, but that was a rather muddling affair with the principals in the betting below par, and he faces a stiffer test here with the handicapper raising his rating since.
Bottomweight Falcon Isand appeals as the biggest threat. He made all of the running to win a fair handicap at Ludlow last time up, and appears set to get an uncontested lead again here. His bold jumping may get some of these in trouble on the forecast good to soft ground, but he may be vulnerable late on to our selections turn of speed.
Irish raider Golan Guy is one to watch in the betting having raced with mixed results at home this season, while Tiger 0'Toole seems to have totally lost the plot in his fencing in recent starts.
In summary, a great chance for Doeslessthanme to regain the winning thread. At around 2-1 this morning he is worth a decent win investment in a race without any similarly progressive rivals.
