The Eurovision song contest is Europe’s premier talent contest hosted annually at a venue within the country borders of the previous year’s winner. Each participating country submits an entry to be performed at the contest which is televised live and beamed around Europe, and then also votes on the other countries’ songs in order to determine a winner.

The 2010 Eurovision song contest was won by the German entry Lena Meyer-Landrut meaning that Germany will now host the event in2011. It was only the second time that Germany have won the contest despite being one of the ‘Big Four’ nations that are not required to qualify for the competition.

 

United Kingdom, France and Spain make-up the quartet with each nation being automatically awarded a place in the final of the event due to their financial contributions. All other nations enter into the competition at the semi-final stage which takes place in the early part of the week leading up to the final. Still not a single word for the Eurovision 2011 which is about to start tomorrow! I hope this time it will be the best who will win cause a year ago Lena surprised us all with that modest song and modest performance. I bet on Azerbaijan's Safura(the best in every aspect) a year ago but I lost.
I hope this time we'll have a better Eurovision! I have some thoughts but I'm not sure what kind of bets I'll place in the end

It seems nobody is really interested for this year's Eurosong. Not a big surprise at all cause it's really hard to pick a winner because of many reasons.
