Celebrity Big Brother Series 8

Celebrity Big Brother UK is back on our TV screen. On its series 8, it commences on the 18th of August 2011. Although it will still be the same format, isolating a group of celebrities from the outside world for three weeks inside the Big Brother house, there will be some changes on the 8th series of the Celebrity Big Brother 2011. For a start, after being aired for 11 Celebrity Big Brother hostyears, in 2010, it was thought that that would be the end of the reality TV show when it was axed by Channel 4, it has been resurrected from the grave and will be aired to a its new ground, Channel Five. The outside world will not be able to watch the celebs 24/7 as there will be no live feed from the house either online- or on-air. Instead, a nightly highlights will be shown on TV and viewers can follow and engage with the housemates through social media via Facebook, Twitter, Iphone, Ipad and Androids apps. And on top of that, Brain Downing, the winner of BB series 2 in 2001 and the champion of Ultimate Big Brother last season will be stepping into Davina McCall’s footstep to bring a new dimension to this hit reality TV show. The Irish TV presenter had the blessing from his predecessor Davina McCall to host the revamped show. In fact, according to Brian the previous BB host has offered to help and give advice to the Irishman in case he needed it.

 

Returning on the screen this Thursday, the official lineup are closely guarded in secrecy. However, former Baywatch Babe Pamela Anderson, the infamous X-Factor teenage twin Jedward, former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona, the Speaker of the House of Common’s wife Sally Bercow, paparazzi king Darryn Lyons, former Two And a Half Men star Charlie Sheen, ex-boxer Mike Tyson and Ricky Hatton, 1980’s R&B and Bobby Brown, Amy Childs, Hollywood actor Tara Reid are some of the celebs that are rumoured to be taking part in the resurrection of the Celebrity Big Brother.

The house is ready to receive the housemate and without a doubt, whoever enters the BB house this week, viewers will be in for a lot drama, tension shocking antics and controversial. Celebrity Big Brother taking place on Channel Five for three weeks starting on Thursday. Brace yourself, Big Brother is back!
