Serie A Teams
Inter is the team to beat once again this season especially after their historic treble, still
fresh in the minds of fans who had lived in the shadows of their rivals for too long when
it came to international recognition. There is just one difference from those not yet distant
glory days – Mourinho. Can Benitez’s tranquil approach and amicable demeanour prove
as effective as the Portuguese guru’s quarrelsome tenacity and argumentative nature?
Milan are the first to bet on Inter’s involution with Berlusconi having gone all in and
eager to show off all his aces. The money spent has been big but will the rewards be
likewise? Roma have spent some money of their own as well and their hopes are that as
the Milan teams squabble they come out on top at the end. Juventus will want to prove
their worth as they aim to find their grandeur whilst Napoli will be convinced that they
too can have their say in important issues.
The Serie A is back and so is our club-by-club analysis of the teams taking part, complete
with transfers, tactics and a tentative prediction of how things will turn out for each.
