INTER TO ADVANCE AT ODDS 1,67
Final result: 1 - 0Profit: 0.00 - 8 = -8
Neither Inter nor Marseille are playing in expected form in their domestic leagues, but in the Champions League they have advanced to the next stage.
Inter advanced without many problems and had secured first spot even before the last round, while Marseille advanced in the last minutes of the match in last round with lots of luck.
French teams were very good in matches against Olympiacos and Dortmund, but had problems with stronger teams like Arsenal, so they will have another exam against a strong team in 1/8 finals, as Inter are definitely one of the strongest in CL no matter how they struggle in Serie A.
Inter will have Forlan in the playoff stage and he is the type of the player who can bring the victory with one good move, so his presence will bring something new in Inter's game.
Also Inter will probably have a better injury report once February comes around, since they have had a lot of troubles from the start of the season.
Odds on Inter are above expectations, and thanks to a rematch at home and bigger experience on this level of competition they are big favorites to advance.
Quality is also on Inter's side without any doubt.

This would be probably the best decision for Inter, as they are playing awful. It is question if they can find good enough coach to replace him.

Whoever comes on to lead Inter at the moment he will solve nothing. It is a difficult time for them and Moratti knows better than getting a third manager this season.
Ranieri should just stop experimenting with his setup. The 4-4-2 worked fine as it got him seven wins in a row. He just needs to turn back to that and if it means considering Sneijder a striker rather than a playmaker behind two strikers, as would prefer, so be it.

I would not be so sure about Inter being in trouble. I never liked Marseille whenever I have seen them play in Europe. Too careless in attack.
A cautious Inter can really keep them banging on the door without getting an answer.
Meanwhile Milito, Sneijder and Pazzini, whichever two play in attack, have the quality to turn the chances they get into goals.
I would be careful in ruling Inter out already.

There is interesting stat related with Marseille before this match:
Marseille posted the worst shooting accuracy of the teams who qualified for the Last 16, hitting the target with just 38% of their attempts

There are some rumors Walter Zenga could be next Inter head coach. He is former Inter and Italian national team goalkeeper. He has also coached Red Star Belgrade.

Thanks for that stat profitt. They do give that impression when seeing them play. Hard facts back the argument.
In any case Moratti has not been avoiding journalists lately. Which may mean Ranieri is getting on his nerves and he just does not want to speak about this to the media.
Yet I think they should be patient with him a while longer. Even if they are eliminated I think they should stick with him, at least until June.

Looking at the formations makes me think this game will tie up in the center, as there is more space in the center then any where else... both have 4 at back, and the pressure will be on Sneijder to keep possesion, while Marsile don't have enough quality up front, and will waste time unless they get alot of free kicks. I agree, a low scoring game, possibly a draw, although i think inter will finish one goal up...

The odds on Inter to advance are 3,05 at Pinnacle right now. They have lost first match and didn't scored away goal and according to current form and latest results they should change something before the rematch.

Those are good odds. We should wait and see whether there will be any change on the managerial front at Inter though. Today or tomorrow may be decisive days for Ranieri.
