Champions League
Milan vs Arsenal
Two matches bet
To be honest I am sick of Arsen and Arsenal! I can't see them all anymore and there will be no one happier than me if they lose both games from Milan!
Milan to qualify next stage is my bet, although I think it is too early to place bet on this one. What can happen in close future are some injuries at Italians and it is not always smart to make an early bet.
But I will take some risk and place all in on Milan, because as I mentioned I am sick of seeing Arsenal winning so many times in many competitions and only thanks to their name and cult they created in last decades.
Milan is a team for all the times. Probably in top 5 teams of all times in the world’s football history, after few years of bad results in Europe, they are back on track!
If you compare every player from both teams on their own positions what do you get?
You get this:
1. Goalkeepers
Christian Abbiati and Marco Amelia against Manuel Almunia and Wojciech Szcz?sny.
Honestly I never liked Abbiati, the way he moved, his bad reflexes and rest… But with his age and such experience, he is, I think one of the best keepers in Europe at this moment! Marco Amelia looks to be better every time he takes Abbiati’s place!
On the other side Almunia and Szczesny! Oh, boy! Well, first one is just an average goalkeeper and second one missed profession!
2. Defense
Mexes, Nesta, Silva, Yepes, Abate, Zambrotta, Bonera, Antonini!
Do I really need to explain all of you the qualities of these defenders!? Nesta is at the end of his career, but not so fast! He will lead his team one or few years more! Yepes and Mexes! What a rhyme and combination of back line defenders!
Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Gibbs. Has anyone counted their owngoals this season!? I give them no chances against Ibrahimovic and Pato I will bet my life on it!
3. Midfielders
Van Bommel, Seedorf(291/48), Ambrosini, Gattuso, Flamini, Nocerino (14/6), Boateng(37/7), Emanuelson and ofcourse Aquilani! Mixed old, experienced with young, strong and fast players this midlefielders are at this moment the best in Italian championship!
- Diaby, Rosicky(101/12), Arteta, Song, Ramsey, Wilshere,
Arshavin(95/23), Benayoun, Chamakh(37/8). (in brackets I put number of games played/goals scored)
First of all I like few of those midfielders, but honestly Song, Arteta, Diaby and Benayoun will always be only close to Seedorf’s technique and football knowledge! Or Gattuso’s fighting and physical abilities!
Rosicky never reached top class level! Arshavin, one of my favorites, obviously is not at high level as last year or the year before last! Ramsey and Wilshere are still young and they will need more time and games in their legs to compete with toughest European midfielders!
4. Attack
I already mentioned Ibrahimovic(14/12) and Pato(111/51) and there are Robinho(46/16) and Cassano (he is probably out due to brain problems).
Rear players you can count on for scoring goals in any game from Arsenal are van Persie(176/83), Walcott(130/20) and Gervinho(17/4) lately. They are respectable teammates and I have only nice words of them!
At the end of this analysis it is up to you who are my followers to decide will you place some money on AC Milan to qualify for next stage of European Champions League 2011/2012!
I wish you all GOOD CHOICE!

Actually I am not any UK team's fan! Never been, never will be! I know something very .... about Wenger but that is not for public discussion. Take my advice and back up my bet with some money you get from this month's competition at BE!

Cassano (he is probably out due to brain problems) ...hehe, he had and has problems with his brains and ego for all his life. I am just said Cassano and Balottelli are not gays and married to each other, yellow pages would be full of their daily domestic disturbances, drinking problems, break up, cheating confessions, photographs of being at bunga-bunga parties....

This one is looking better and better IMO. Milan should snatch a home win since Arsenal isn't looking that well, even after the 7:1 trashing against Blackburn. The odds are still pretty high.

Yeah, what a "coincidence"! First season's game ended 4-3! After 1-2 at half time! DOUBLE CROSSOVER! Have you put some money on this one?

Hey guys, I know this has been an argument discussed for a while now. I cannot do more than assure you there is no particular preference for any tipsters when it comes to choosing the Tip of the Day.
The last thing that would make a difference would definitely be the country of origin. There is no relation with the tipsters chosen for the Tip of the Day nor the country they come from. Absolutely none in fact.
What makes a difference is usually the availability of the pick quite early. That is a factor taken in consideration more than most of you might think. It is of course not the only aspect, and not the main one, but it plays an important part.

- You must be another thrilled Tottenham fan, cause finally, his team made it this year and is ahead of the Gunners! How sad! One season of joy among others of sorrow ...
- You started to compare the players, but you forgot to compare the ... managers ...
- I agree with the pick, in some conditions, Arsenal has too many injured players - what if Milan gets some in the meantime?
- No word for me here if it wasn't to be a scandalous attack from you to an iconic figure of football, Arsene. There are just a few of his kind, you know, and we should be pleased to see moments like the one with Henry scoring on his returning, or Scholes ...
- I have a friend that said to me ones: you know why is Fergusson so big? Cause he met in his career managers like Wenger and compete against them!
- Wenger, Fergusson, Lippi, Romario, Baggio, Hagi, Stoichkov, Lineker, Shearer, Zidane, Platini, etc. Every country has his own great coach / player. Wenger is one of the best in France and England!
