DETROIT (+6.5) PTS AT ODDS 1.95

Two teams both from East Conference but with pretty much different quality and different ambitions. Atlanta Hawks surely will be among top teams while Detroit Pistons like in many previous seasons are again far from Top 8 teams in East Conference. What more with current score of 3W and 15D they are second worst team on East Coast. But there are reasons for me to believe that tonight Pistons can be tough oponent for Hawks.
Atlanta won only one of last three games on the road (against weak Milwaukee, only 5 points) while Detroit in last games at home was much more competitive to some of the strongest teams in the league. They beat Portland and lost to Miami only by 3 points.
Mutual meetings are very much on the side of hosts: Pistons won at home court five of last six against Hawks and also 12 out of last 15.
