NO TRIPLE CROWN WINNER

Final result: 0 - 1
Profit: 0.00 - 6 = -6

6 Nations kicks off this weekend and I've already placed my preview and predictions for the tournamant but this bet is a trophy the 'Home Nations' play for within the greater tournament and this is what's referred to as the 'Triple Crown' and is only awarded if one of Ireland, Scotland, England or Wales manage to win all 3 of their games against each other and I don't think this will happen this time around

Without being disrespectful I think Scotland can automatically be ruled out of this as they'll be doing exceedingly well to win 1 of these encounters let alone all 3 with trips to Dublin & Cardiff highly unlikely to yield anything and a difficult home fixture against England as their opener probably their best chance to get a victory over a home nations side

Wales go into the tournamant as 2nd favourites and rightly so after their world cup heroics but with trips to Ireland & England on their schedule this season they'll do well to win 2 out of their 3 fixtures in the Triple Crown race but could still be within touching distance of France come the final game in Cardiff

England in the past would fancy their chances with both Ireland & Wales having to travel to Twickenham and the one away trip North to Scotland but their morale is at an all time low and their club sides are being regularily beaten in Europe so they're unlikely to win all 3 games either

Ireland have an outside chance with 2 home games against Wales & Scotland and a trip to England which they don't fear at all. Alot will depend on the Wales game, as if Ireland win then they'll go close but will probably loose heavily in France to rule them out of the championship overall. I'd expect Ireland to win 2 out of 3

Overall I don't see a stand out team from the home nations this season and can see them beating each other with probably 2 wins being the most any of them can expect. Ireland were last to win it during their Grand Slam year of 2009 but just like the two years since I don't feel any of these teams are strong enough to win all 3 games

No team to win the triple crown is my pick here... Good Luck
