ENGLISH PREMIER-SUNDERLAND TO BEAT STOKE-ASIAN HANDICAP +0.25 8 POINTS @ 2.04

Sunderland have experienced a revival under the leadership of Martin O'Neill. O'Neill has been a success at all his previous clubs and is undoubedly one of the best managers in the premier league. Sunderland are fortunate to have captured him and they will reap the rewards. Their record under O'Neill reads 6w, 1d, 2defeats. Two defeats were away at Tottenham and Chelsea 0-1 each time. Last game, they comfortably beat Norwich 3-0 with an impressive performance.

Stoke are a success story in this league with a great manager in Tony Pulis. However, recent form is inconsistent. Lost away 0-2 to Man United and did not look convincing, not testing Man United present weakness. They have only 1win in 7 games and at home not won since December, losing last time against WBA. There appear to be some issues with Pennant, alongside Etherington, their most creative player, as he has lost game time on the bench.

Whilst Stoke can rise to the occasion at home especially against teams with big reputations I think their form is poor and the odds on offer are a great opportunity for the brave. I can't see Sunderland losing this one in any event.
