I don't think Schalke will lose any points in this fixture and frankly, I'm finding kinda hard to understand such high odds on Schalke win. Around 1.7? I'm gonna take it a step up and go for the -0.75 asian handicap.

Mainz is not a strong team. The best they managed to get away from they're stadium were a few draws and against a top team, with a strong attack as Schalke's I don't think they'll be able to hold on to a 0-0. I think it is very possible to see a win by more than one goal here, but a home win is almost certain unless something really dramatic happens.
Mainz are 12th in the league with 21 points.

In the first meeting of the Bundesliga between both this teams, Schalke won in Mainz by 2-4. 2 goal margin away can very well be repeated at home.
