BIRMINGHAM WIN OVER SOUTHAMPTON

Southampton lead the Championship for almost all of the first round of the season. Now they are in a bad moment and things aren't coming out so easily.

Birmingham in the other hand are on they're way up. After a slower start, probably becaues of having to deal with a tighter schedule that included Europa League games. That was certainly difficult for a 2nd division team to deal with. Championship's calendar is already big enough for this teams and coping with a high European competition level could never be easy for them.

Southampton are 2nd in the league, 2 points behind London team, West Ham, who also have a really difficul game this weekend. They will be hosting Millwall for a London derby. One of the many. They have lost a couple of easier games away in they're recent trips and lost important points on the road.

Birmingham recent home record is great. Not a single loss in the last 10 games, which includes 2 Europa League games.

They are on a 5 games won streak and currently occupy the 4th place in the table.

I think Birmingham have enough to beat this Southampton side. Zigic in attack should make some damage to Southampton's defense.
