STOKE TO MAKE QUARTER FINALS

It's quarter final time in this year's FA Cup and the stand out tie for value in my opinion is between Crawley Town & Stoke City with the much superior team available at 1.8 with Bet 365 and I intend to take full advantage of that with a full stakes investment

Crawley have managed to navigate their way through to the last 16 of the FA Cup with victories over Bury, Redbridge, Bristol City & Hull. Impressively they've managed to do this without conceeding a goal and their reward is a home tie against last years beaten finalists and solid Premiership side Stoke City

Crawley are also well positioned in League Two, currently occupying a playoff position and just 1 point (with a game in hand) from an automatic promotion spot, so they're in fine form. They've also only lost twice at home all season from 13 games and have lost only 1 from their last 22 in all competitions home & away - so their confidence will be sky high and they've got nothing to loose in this fixture, which offcourse can be a dangerous proposition

Stoke, on the other hand, are having a strange season by their own high standards as they attempt to juggle domestic and European commitments. They currently sit in the bottom half of the Premiership with just 4 away wins all season from 12 attempts. They're also on a run of just 3 wins from their last 10 fixtures, which were the two FA Cup victories over lower league oposition and at relegation favourites Blackburn, so their form isn't great at all in recent weeks

These stats so far would point to a potential upset but the key factor when weighing all these stats up is the quality of oposition and whilst Crawley are having a great season in League Two with Stoke stuttering somewhat in the Premiership - the gap in quality between the two leagues is simply gigantic and for me the romanace of the FA Cup will end right here for Crawley as Stoke are just too strong and I strongly fancy them to win here with something to spare as the difference in class should be ruthlesly exposed

A full 60 positions seperate these two clubs from 12th in the Premiership to 4th in League Two, so despite the respective stats I see no reason why Stoke are so generously priced and I feel they should win this game with a 2 goal margin or better

However, with an 80% return on offer simply for the win of any margin I can't pass that opportunity up and I personally feel Stoke are a dark horse to win this competition and they're certainly much too strong for their hosts in this encounter
