Apoel was the big suprise in the group stage of the Champions League. They became first in a group with Zenit St. Petersburg, FC Porto and Shacktar Donetzk. Three pretty good teams, not easy to beat.

Olympique Lyon won the last match in the group stage with very big numbers and they passed Ajax Amsterdam on goal difference. They have not played one good match in the Champions League. Ajax should have won twice against the French team. Real Madrid beat them easily and Dinamo Zagreb was just too weak.

I think Apoel has a good chance to win, especially at home. I see real value in them. So I will bet on Apoel to advance over 2 matches.
