DETROIT TO WIN AT ODDS 1.70
Final result: 4 - 2Profit: 17.00 - 10 = 7
Detroit has been unbelievable good at home and they have won 17 home games in a row and I don't see that streak to end tonight against really poor road team. During that streak Detroit has won all but three of those games in regulation time. Detroit lost last two games on road but in my opinion I see they are just more motivated now to continue their nice home streak (first one of those losses came against Edmonton 5-4 in shootouts). Detroit are missing goaltender Jimmy Howard, forward Patrick Eaves and defender Brad Stuart, Howard are only important player but I think they will be just fine without him in this game. Joey MacDonald probably starts in the net, he has been solid in those two games where he has been playing so let's hope he keeps that level. Detroit are currently first in whole NHL.
Oilers has been little bit better lately but really only reason for that has been their red-hot first line Hall-Gagner-Eberle but already in last game against Toronto there was signs of slowing and most important notice of that game was Edmonton's really bad defending all the game and if they keep defending like that against Detroit they just can't win. Oilers has lost last 7 road games and all but one in regulation time and Oilers has won only 6 out of 21 played road games (19 losses in regulation time). Nikolai Khabibulin probably starts in the net tonight, his performances lately has been really bad and his last 8 games Edmonton has lost. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins are injured again and that is really really bad news for Oilers, also Theo Peckham and Taylor Fedun are injured. Oilers are 29th in the league.
