10 POINTS CHELTENHAM BEAT HEREFORD (UK FOOTBALL LEAGUE 2) @2 PINNACLE

Cheltenham who are 2nd in the table take on Hereford who are languishing in 22nd place this weekend and I really cant see any other result than a Cheltenham victory.

Cheltenham away from home have played very well and their record is played 14, won 8, drawn 2 and lost 4 but when you consider in their first 5 matches they won 1, drew 1 and lost 3 you can see how much better they are playing now and if it hadnt been for a midwekk loss to Crawley they would have been undefeated away from home since the start of October and top of the league. They did lose 4-2 at Crawley on Tuesday night who are serious contenders to win the title and this victory means they leapfrog Cheltenham to take the top spot and Cheltenham will want to bounce back in this game against Hereford. Their goal scoring record is excellent and in total they have scored a total of 25 goals and until Tuesday night their defence was also very solid as well.

Hereford are not playing well this season and their home record typifies the position they are in - they have played 15 matches winning 3, drawing 2 and losing 10. Their only 3 wins have come against teams who are in the bottom 7 which is what you would expect from a relegation threatened team and I cant see that form changing here. They have scored in most games but have only scored more than 1 goal in 3 games and against a high scoring Cheltenham side this will not be enough.
