SCOTLAND TO COMPETE
Final result: 27 - 13Profit: 0.00 - 8 = -8
Scotland fresh from their opening defeat at home to England make the trip to Wales who won in dramatic fashion away to Ireland for the 2nd round of fixtures in this years six nations and I'm going against the grain a little here by taking Scotland to put up a real battle in this game and at least keep the scoreline respectable if they fail to win
Scotland controlled the game against England for long spells but didn't have that killer instinct to score tries at vital times and the one chance England got they took it and won the game. The good aspects for Scotland was their set plays were very solid whilst Wales set plays were poor in Dublin and almost cost them a game they otherwise controlled. If Scotland sustain their consistency in the set play area then they could starve Wales of possession and force them onto the back foot and force mistakes form them
Wales have been decimated with well documented injuries to key players and the news that second row Davies is now banned for the remainder of the tournamant is yet another body blow. However, their replacements showed against Ireland their up for the challenge and coach Warren Gatland will have his side ready for the challenge of Scotland who travel with a point to prove
Scotland have developed a nasty habit of loosing close games in recent times with their last 5 defeats all being by a maximum of 7 points and most much closer, so they're certainly progressing under coach Andy Robinson and their provincial teams are also finally competing with their European counterparts which builds confidence and belief going into these Six Nations encounters
Recent head to head's with Wales haven't been kind to Scotland with just 1 win for their last 5 encounters but the majority of those games were very tight until the later stages of the games and if the same happens on Sunday I expect this improved Scotland team to hang in for longer and keep the game alive at least until the last 15/20 minutes when Wales might just pull away
However, with a 13 point head start and a solid base of line out and scrum in Scotland's favour I think they can deliver a winning bet for us here
Good Luck

Scots turn down easy 3 points infront of the posts with their final attack looking for a try.. Pity they didnt realise all we needed was for them to loose by less than 13!! Indiscipline cost Scots just after ht with 2 men sent to the bin as Wales turned up the pressure.. Wales look strong despite their injuries
