As I said in my preview about this tie between Japan and Croatia I see here the Asian team to impose because has several players that are in hot form at this moment.
One of them is Soeda who made several decent results in 2012 including a win against the Croatian at Chennai when imposed in two sets.
Soeda made SF at Chennai and won at Honolulu Challenger the only bad match being made at Australian Open lost to Molchanov.
Dodig on the other hand was bad so far and even playing at home were won in 2011 didn't helped him and lost in the QF after several poor matches.
Soeda is the better player at this moment and should give a point to Japan here.
