AUSTRALIAN A LEAGUE-PERTH GLORY TO BEAT SYDNEY FC- AH+.25

Perth Glory are on form at the moment, they are undefeated in 8 games posting 5 wins and 3 draws. The last 6 games have been particularly impressive, beating Melbourne Victory 4-1 at home, Adelaide 3-0 away and Gold Coast Utd at home 4-0.

Sydney lost their last home game, easily beaten by Newcastle Jets 2-5 which is not ideal preparation for the visit of in form Perth. Also they have only 1 win in their last 9 games.

The last meeting at Sydney between the teams was in December and it ended up 1-1. The bookmakers expect a similiar tight game here hence the generous odds for a Perth victory.

Perth's striker Smeltz is in good form however goals are coming from all over the pitch, ex Man Utd and Celtic midfielder Liam Miller has hit a few recently. Due to the goals threat I expect this game to be an over 2.5gls with Perth to grab at least two goals.

However, as the last result was a draw, I'm hedging my bets on an asian handicap and the odds are still good at 1.83.
