Both players had straight sets wins here:

Zvonareva V. - Amanmuradova A. 6-3, 6-3
Zvonareva V. - Wongteanchai V. 6-2, 7-5

Cirstea S. - Doi M. 6-2, 6-2
Cirstea S. - Sema E. 6-2, 6-2

Yes the Russian could have lost the second set with Wongteanchai but managed to awake in time and avoid a big embarrassment while the Romanian was simply at her best so far and should cause problems to the favorite here.
Still Cirstea doesn't like to play against players that keep the ball in play and the Russian defensive should cause her problems and I will stick with Zvonareva to win in 2 sets and make SF here.
Plus Zvonareva despite was bad this season and is yet to convince seems to love Pattaya as won two times and made SF last season.
