After very bad phase it looks like Buffalo has become closer to that level where they was in early months of the season and now they have won 4 out of last 5 games and that only loss came against top team Rangers in shootouts. Also good news for Buffalo is that their superstar Thomas Vanek should play tonight and now their injury situation looks pretty good only Jochen Hecht and T.J. Brennan are injured. Ryan Miller probably starts in the net and he has looked much better lately and now when there hasn't been anymore trade rumours around him I think he can just focus to games now. Buffalo has fallen to 13th place in eastern conference but they are still fighting for playoff spot.
Dallas is one of those unpredictable teams but I have couple reasons why I think they will lose tonight. Firstly they must be pretty tired after played against Columbus yesterday and second reason is that their backup goaltender rookie Richard Bachman is confirmed starter tonight so their biggest superstar Kari Lehtonen won't be in the net. Dallas has won 4 out of last 10 games but all of those victories has come against currently pretty poor teams Anaheim twice, Columbus and Minnesota. Dallas is currently 9th in western conference.
These teams have met 5 times after lockout and Buffalo has won 4 of those meetings.
