MANCHESTER CITY TO WIN AT ODDS 1.73

Final result: 0 - 1
Profit: 17.30 - 10 = 7.3

Aston Villa take on Manchester City, after City have had a chance to get well rested for a week with their victory against Fulham by a score of 3-0, showing their class, and their ability to get back to winning ways, and now have a 2 point lead at the top of the table over Manchester United.

Important for Manchester City was that some of their key players have gotten back to form including Aguero, Dzeko and Silva as they look to continue their winning ways against a struggling Aston Villa side. With the Toure brothers out at AFCON and possible injury concerns to Samir Nasri and suspension of Mario Balotelli; City will turn to its large squad to replace them with opportunities being given to the likes of Savic, Johnson, de Jong and Pizzaro to stand and to put in performances.

Aston Villa have shown in recent weeks that they have been struggling and need some talent to be injected particularly in their midfield, where they have a lack of quality players. Stephen Ireland has shown in bits and pieces that he can recover the good form that he had when he played for Manchester City, but their ability to find good wing players to replace Downing and Young, have made them curb Agbonlahor's natural instincts and pushed him aside to the left wing, instead of playing up front. Petrov isn't as young as he used to be, and doesn't have much of pace to join in attacks, and overall has curbed Villa's ability to go front and score.

Villa's home record in recent times has been abysmal losing 3 and drawing 2 of their last 5 games. With Man City always dominating these matchups in 4 out of the last outings, winning by an average goal margin of 3, expect Manchester City to run riot in this game as well against a struggling Villa side.
