Everton welcome Chelsea for the third meeting of the season. The Blues have won the reverse fixture from Stamford Bridge (3-1), but they needed extra time to defeat Everton at Goodison Park when the sides met on late October in the Carling Cup. It won't be any easier this time, as the hosts are boosted by their good run (away draws at Villa and Wigan, wins over Fulham in the Cup and against leaders City last time at Goodison). On the other hand, Chelsea and their manager, Villas-Boas, are under pressure, after missing out the victory over United despite having a 3 goals lead (3-3). It was the Blues' third draw in a row and now even the fourth place is in danger, with Newcastle, Arsenal and Liverpool eager to take amends for every slip-up. Chelsea have won only 5 of their 12 games on the road, with other 5 matches ended as draws. Everton have been a boogey team for Chelsea lately, as the Blues have won only 2 of the last 11 head-to-heads in all competitions. Most of those games ended with a share of the points (7 draws) and given the fact that Everton are playing confident after their win over City and that Chelsea have not been impressive on the road all season and had problems on finding the net (at most 1 goal scored per game in 4 of their last 5 fixtures) with Drogba still at the ACN, I reckon that the draw is the most possible outcome here.
