GOALS AT WEMBLEY
Final result: 1 - 1Profit: 0.00 - 8 = -8
Sunday will see history made for two seperate reasons regardless of result - The first ever appearance of a Welsh team in the final of the League Cup & also the first visit of Liverpool to 'new' Wembley. It could also serve up an intriguing encounter as both teams will have confidence they can lift the trophy come the full time whistle
Cardiff have been knocking on the door of the Premier League for a number of seasons only to be denied at the dying stages of a few different seasons in the playoffs. They looked nailed on to be the first Welsh team ever to make the Premiership only to be eclipsed by bitter rivals Swansea last season. This will have hurt the Cardiff City supporters and they will see this final as a chance to claim some glory of their own
Cardiff also are on course for at least another shot at promotion via the playoffs this season, so are a consistent side in recent seasons at Championship level with very little seperating them from the teams that have managed to gain promotion and maybe this could be their year to join the elite
Liverpool have been having a rollercoaster season as they attempt to reclaim a top 4 spot and despite an indifferent home record still find themselves in contention with just 4 points seperating them from the current occupants of the final Champions League position - Arsenal - who look far from assured in recent times themselves. Liverpool also have navigated their way to an FA Cup home quarter final, so this could yet be a season of genuine progress and success for Daglish in his first full season in charge since his return to the hot seat
Form wise Liverpool have lost just 2 of their last 10, scoring 21 and conceeding 10 times. However, 11 of those goals came against lower league opposition in the FA Cup which slightly clouds the issue but it also shows that whilst they're staring to find the net on a more consistent basis they still struggle to keep a clean sheet with just 4 of them in their last 13 fixtures so Cardiff have every reason for optimism that they can at least score in this game
Cardiff whilst still in contention in the Championship have only kept 2 clean sheets themselves in their last 12 so will be unlikely to do so against a team of the quality of Liverpool on Sunday. They have been scoring in most games though and have failed to do so on just 4 occassions from their last 15 fixtures so added to Liverpools inability to consistently keep clean sheets I see no reason why they can't score at least once on Sunday and put themselves in with a genuine opportunity of an upset
Liverpool now have Suarez back and Carroll has started to find the net. They also have Bellamy playing against his former team mates and how many times do we see that factor proving decisive? I therefore can't see past a Liverpool win but there's no decent odds available anywhere for this and whilst I also looked at the ht/ft market I'm not happy with it as I fancy Cardiff to score and if they hit first then it could be level at the break, so overall I see this game being a little more open than many expect and for it to finish with at least 3 goals being scored
Over 2.5 Goals is my pick here... Good Luck

Will be in Wembley today and hoping to see the red half of the staidum see history being made. First with King Kenny then with the boys in the reds, i think this will be a no contest for liverpool and with a few goals, so over 2.5 is preferred. Good Luck
