Simon has started the new season as consistently as he started the 2011 season which is in much better form than he ended the 2011 season where he was being knocked out of tournaments in the first round so hopefully he has turned the corner and his confidence and performances are back to what they should be. he has already reached the semi final in Brisbane and Montpellier and in both tournamenst had only lost 1 set prior to those semi final appearances.

Carlos Berlocq is an improving player who has moved up the rankings over the past 3 months from 77 to 42 currently and a lot of this is due to his performances in the Vin delMar in Chile where he managed to reach the final before losing to Juan Monaco and he is an improving player. This year most of his victories have come against the lower ranked players and each time he has faced an opponent of equivalent ranking he has lost and I think he will struggle against an in form Simon.
