ENGLISH LEAGUE 1-STEVENAGE TO BEAT NOTTS COUNTY -AH+0.25

League 1 clash, Notts County sacked Martin Allen after poor run of results and Keith Curle takes his first game in charge. Stevenage have a new manager Mark Smith who has continued the good work from previous imcumbant Graham Westley.

Stevenage held Spurs at home in the FA Cup and the visit to Notts Co won't hold too many fears. Whilst the arrival of a new manager normally lifts a team at least temporarily, the appointment of Curle has been met with a muted reaction from fans and personally I can't see how he can improve the team where Martin Allen couldn't, the latter being a far more accomplished manager and frankly unlucky to lose his job.

Stevanage have 1 defeat in all competitions since October and are pushing hard for a promotion spot with games in hand. Last away game was a 1-0 win at Sheff Wednesday so I think the asian handicap here is an easy bet to take. For the brave, taking the outright at generous odds of 2.63 could prove fruitful.
