ENGLISH CHAMPIONSHIP-HULL TO BEAT BRIGHTON "DRAW NO BET" @ 1.34
Final result: 0 - 0Profit: 10.00 - 10 = 0
One place seperates the teams in the table so I expect this game to be a close encounter both on league position and recent form. There are two factors in Hull's favour, firstly their defensive record is excellent. They have been v well organised at the back all season and even with change of managers to Nick Barmby the trend has continued. They have conceded 3 goals in 10 championship games
(discounting the 0-1 defeat in FA Cup to Crawley).
Secondly, Hull have extra rest, they last played a week ago whilst Brighton were hammered on Sunday 1-6 by Liverpool and largely played their first eleven. So the Brighton players will be more jaded and confidence will be low after such a heavy defeat.
Brighton's form has been good of late however there were signs of defensive fraility against Millwall in last home game and they had to come from behind twice to draw 2-2. Millwall are one of the poorer teams in the division and if they can score two away from home then there are problems.
In short, Brighton look like they will concede at least a goal and Hull look imperious at the back. Whilst it might be close I expect a home win, I will however back the draw no bet at maximum stake as I have a feeling the players of Brighton will be keen to bounce back and show the manager the should retain a place in the side.
