ATP Casablanca 250 tournament
Cipolla has not been him old self lately regarding form. He is 8/10 and has yet to play on clay court surfaces. He has a 93/62 winning record on the red dirt.
In he’s last three tournaments he has not played good tennis. In MiAMI HE LOST TO THE German Stebe in straight sets. In Dallas challenger he lost to Andreev in the R16. And in Indian wells losing Ryan Harrison of USA.
This is the third time he will be playing in Casablanca. In 2010 he reached the qualification losing to Cervantes in straight sets and in 2009 he lost to Zverev in the 1st round. I don’t believe he likes playing in Morocco.
Cipolla is ranked 85 in the world.
Idmbarek does not play much tennis due to some heavy injuries over the past few years. He is 2/6 and 0/4 on clay courts for 2012. In he’s entire career he has only played on clay courts. He has a winning record of 92/86.
He has played in this tournament twice back in 2011 and 2004 not passing through the qualification stages.
He is ranked 1064 in the world.
I’m going to be betting for over 17.5 games in this match as I believe Cipolla has yet to play on clay courts so due to the change of surface, I’m sure the home player may cover the over bet.
Idmbarek has played he’s last three tournaments in Morocco so therefore he should be used to the conditions.
Idmbarek is also home player so he will receive some good support from the crowd.
Cipolla has never played well in Morocco maybe due to the conditions being blustery, hot and with many tournaments being played high above sea level.
This has led me to believe that this match may go over 17.5 games.
